In goal achievement, business skills are business tools. Just as one needs the right tools to build a house, a business needs the right skills to build its goals. 

While difficulty and struggle is part and parcel of the goal pursuit, without the right skills, the learning curve will be twice as long and the opportunity cost twice as costly. Over time, this struggle is unconstructive and hinders growth and valuable business assets.
